DescriptionReceived by me Robert Tod merchant in Edinburgh present treasurer to George Watson’s Hospital from Robert Seton writer in Edinburgh factor for Lawrence Dundas now of Kerse eight hundred and six pound six shilling two pennies Scotts money as an years annual rent from Whitsunday 1748 to Whitsunday 1749 years of the sum of sixteen thousand one hundred and twenty six pounds five shilling four pennies money foresaid being the Hospital’s free draught and share of the price of the lands and estate of Kerse which pertained to the deceast Sir Alexander Hope of Kerse baronet payable to the Hospital by the said Laurence Dundas as purchaser of the said estate [*at least as assigney and having right thereto by disposition and assignation from Thomas Dundas of Fingask is father] conform to the scheme of division of the said price approved by the Lords of Council and Session
