- settlement examination of John Mitchell a rogue and vagabond. He was born in the township of Broughton and was apprenticed in 1761 to John Feaster of Scarborough master mariner for six years, after which he served as a mariner on different merchant ships. He believes his last legal place of settlement was at Scarborough

- settlement examination of John Moore a rogue and vagabond. His father was a soldier in the 29th Regiment of Foot. He was born at Scarborough, and when he was about 9 years old, he was apprenticed to Allexander MacNabb of Leith in Scotland for three years. He served his apprenticeship, and then served in the navy for 11 years. He has served as a mariner in various vessels ever since

- settlement examination of Mary Bowes a rogue and vagabond. She is the wife of Radcliff Bowes of Manchester in Lancashire a gatherer of rags. She believes that her husband is now in Bridlington gathering rags
