Description | Certificate of John Terry that 1254 bushels of white salt in the Brunton (Matthew Cook master) sailed from Hull with a cocket dated 9 November 1807. The ship was stranded at Coatham in the port of Stockton on 11 November 1807. The salt was landed, partly damaged, and lodged in a barn. Terry held the keys of the barn until 9 January 1808, when the salt was shipped on board the Endeavour (Isaac Mack master) for Whitby
