| Description | Paper to move at the Midsummer Sessions 1818 for a respite of the presentment of the inhabitants of Middleton Tyas for not repairing the highway. The presentment was made at the last Christmas Sessions and the road is now in complete repair, but the inhabitants have been unable to get a certificate from two magistrates. It was viewed about a week ago by the Revd Mr Atkinson, who said that the road "was in a very pretty state, but that it was too early to let it out" |
