DescriptionPaper for the Michaelmas Sessions 1822 to move that if Paul Armstrong, the defendant, pleads not guilty to assaulting Alexander Stephenson , then his trial should be postponed to the next Sessions, as he was only committed yesterday. The bill [of indictment] was found against him at a previous Sessions and a bench warrant issued for his apprehension, but he absconded before it could be executed. If he pleads guilty then judgement should be respited to the next Sessions
