DescriptionAn account of Yarm Bridge rents due at Candlemas 1833 and received by Mr William Garbutt following an order made at the Quarter Sessions at Northallerton on 16 October 1826, and at the Quarter Sessions at Durham on 19 April 1830. Lists the owners of property who pay rents, their place of residence, rents and arrears, and observations

- Margaret Bradley of Yarm

- George Brittain of Yarm

- Mary Blacket's children. Thomas Flintoff of Little Langton near Northallerton and James Rawlin of Linnyfield near North Cowton act as Trustees for those children

- George Deuxell of Yarm (mortgagee of). The mortgagees of Mr Deuxell's property has taken possession thereof and paid the rent which has accrued due since he entered. Mr Deuxell has lately departed this life insolvent

- William Davison of Yarm (late John Spence)

- James Dale (devisee of)

- Thomas Foggitt of Egglescliffe

- Society of Friends. Mr William Flounders near Yarm is agent

- Mrs Fortune of Middleton St George

- Ann Greathead of Yarm

- Thomas Hunter of Northallerton (late Mrs Close)

- devisees of John Hodgson [two entries]

- William Hutchinson of Yarm, late Joseph Flounders

- Michael Harrison of Yarm. Mr Harrison has paid this rent from the time he purchased the property but he refuses to pay the arrears due from Robert Wastell the former owner who is insolvent

- Hannah Harrison of Yarm (late Michael Morton)

- William Holliday of Egglescliffe (late William Willans)

- William Jackson of Yarm (late Joseph Dunning). Mr Jackson has paid this rent from the time he purchased the property charged therewith and the former owner is unable to pay

- John Jolly of Yarm

- John Leng of Yarm

- Thomas Meynell esquire of Yarm [two entries]

- William Medd of Yarm

- Peter MacNaughton of Yarm. Peter MacNaughton pleads inability to pay and is in an unsound state of mind and his property is in a dilapidated state and principally unoccupied

- Robert Pape of Easington near Castle Eden

- John Richardson of Yarm (late Jane Rowland)
- Jane Rowland of Norton (late John Heslop)
(These are old arrears barred by the Statute)

- Mrs Smith of Darlington (late William Smith)

- Thomas Spence of London. This is an old arrear which Mr Spence says he paid to Mr Miles a former collector of the rent

- George Stockton of South Shields (late Francis Stockton)

- Joshua Thomas of Kirklington. Mr Thomas paid six years arrears due at Candlemas 1830. He afterwards paid a year's rent accounted for in the last Rent Roll and he has now paid two years more due at Candlemas last

- John Tweddell of Stokesley (late Mrs Jefferson). This rent prior to the year 1827 was for many years demanded of Robert Young chirgeon who is owner of another property in Yarm which formerly belonged to Mrs Jefferson but it is not subject to the rent and it never having been demanded of John Tweddell until 1827 he was advised by his solicitor not to pay for more than six years arrears which he then paid, and has since paid the rent annually

- Henry Wilson of Stockton (late John William Warwick) [two entries]. Mr Wilson purchased the property in respect of which this rent is payable in the summer of 1829 and he has paid the rent since accrued due. John William Warwick the former owner is insolvent

- Elizabeth Waddell of Yarm

- Ann Williams of Stockton [two entries]. Mrs Williams paid six years arrears due at Candlemas 1831 and has since paint the rents annually
