Miss Elizabeth Humble of Sinnington had deposited £35 with Edward Bland and Thomas Bird the bank's agents in Pickering on 2 September 1843. Miss Humble married John Stead. Stead had already received sums of £5 and £20 from the agents on account

Endorsed with names of witnesses and "a true bill"



Attached is a statement by Stead that the indictment is not sufficient in law and that he is not guilty
