- Georgiana Houson. Inquest held at Huntington on 19 February 1848. Verdict: visitation of God

- Robert Brough. Inquest held at Whitwell on 10 March 1848. Verdict: accidentally killed

- Robert Stephenson. Inquest held at York Castle on 25 March 1848. Verdict: visitation of God [no expenses for this inquest]
