The present visitors are Henry Brewster Darley esquire, William Duesbery Thornton Duesbery esquire, Leonard Mewburn esquire [replacing the deleted name of Thomas Meynell junior esquire], James Meek esquire, and Beverley Robinson Morris M.D.
Mr Meynell has left York, and it is desirable that any magistrate living within eight or ten miles should be appointed as a Visiting Magistrate. The names of Mr Thompson of Sheriff Hutton and Mr Steevens of Whitwell may be mentioned by Mr Shepherd |
