With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions for the East Riding held at Beverley on 14 October 1851 of William Wood late of the parish of Weaverthorpe labourer for stealing one cotton shirt, the property of George Nendick. Wood was sentenced to hard labour in the House of Correction at Beverley for two calendar months. Certificate dated 6 January 1857
