- affidavit dated 25 June 1860 of Joseph Wardle of Ashes Farm in the township of Ruswarp farmer and John Yeoman of the township of Whitby surgeon. Wardle is aged 69 years and is unable to attend as a juror through deafness, rheumatism and general infirmity. Yeoman is his usual medical attendant |
