Description | Bill of indictment of John Jardine Reid for obtaining the sums of £2 7s 11d and £1 4s 6d from Bolckow Vaughan and Company Limited by falsely pretending to Reaston Baker a pay clerk in the employment of William Henry Ferdinand Bolckow and others trading as and being a joint stock company called Bolckow Vaughan and Company Limited that James Kelly had in the two weeks ending on 24 February 1866 worked for Bolckow Vaughan and Company Limited for 15 days [sic] and was entitled to 3s 3d for each day; and that William Hodgson had worked 71/4 days and was entitled to 3s 6d for each day
Reid also made the same false claim to William Leng a clerk employed by Bolckow Vaughan and Company Limited
