With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions for county Durham held at Durham on 27 June 1859 of William Franklin otherwise called William Frankland for stealing four overcoats, the property of Christian Bowen. Franklin/Frankland, who had a previous conviction for felony, had previously been convicted of burglary at the Special Gaol Delivery held at the Castle of York on 2 December 1854.
