DescriptionPapers relating to an appeal against the cost of repairing a highway between Skutterskelfe and Seamer. Includes:

- order made on 24 July 1869 that the highway for 660 yards westwards from Tame Bridge shall be repaired by the township of Skutterskelfe and that the remainder of the highway shall be repaired by the township of Seamer; and that Thomas Alderson waywarden of the township of Skutterskelfe shall pay costs to Thomas Rickinson waywarden of the township of Seamer. At the Petty Sessions for Langbaurgh West held on 26 June 1869 Rickinson had claimed that part of the highway leading from Stokesley to Hutton Rudby between Tame Bridge and the junction of Seamer Moor Lane, being 1,320 yards in length, should be repaired by both townships
