Susannah Elizabeth Preston otherwise called Elizabeth Preston had previously been convicted of felony at the Quarter Sessions for the liberty of Ripon held at Ripon on 23 October 1880

With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions for the liberty of Ripon held at Ripon on 23 October 1880 of Elizabeth Preston for obtaining by false pretences a cashmere dress and linings for it, a trimmed chip bonnet, a lady's scarf and a pair of stockings total value £2 3s 5d. Preston, who had a previous conviction for felony, was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Northallerton for nine calendar months. Certificate dated 29 November 1881
