With certificate of conviction before two Justices at the borough of Dudley on 23 July 1880 of George Frederick Salter servant to Samuel Mills for embezzling £1 3s 4d from his master, at the borough of Dudley on 11 December 1879. Salter was sentenced to hard labour at the prison at Birmingham in Warwickshire for three calendar months, commencing at the end of his imprisonment for another offence. Certificate dated 19 March 1884
