"Record" of the case against Thomas Moss late of the parish of Scruton yeoman for breaking into a cowhouse which was the common pound in the township of Morton in the parish of Ainderby Steeple, and rescuing his bull value £10 which had been found eating the grass in a close called the Hall Pasture, belonging to James Eden late of the township of Morton in the parish of Ainderby Steeple yeoman Endorsed "Richmond Christmas Sessions 18th January 1788" and "Appeared. Withdrew plea. Submitted, fined and discharged"
