- George Fowler, charged on the oath of Elizabeth Wilson of Huttons Ambo as father of her bastard child, and for want of sureties. Committed on 22 February 1788

- Thomas Hamilton and William Bentley, for begging in the township of Appleton le Street, without having a legal settlement there. Committed on 28 April 1788

- John Oag and Jane his wife for wandering in the township of Helmsley Blackamoor, without having a legal settlement there. Committed on 3 May 1788

- John Harpur for wandering in the township of Helmsley Blackamoor without having a legal settlement there. Committed on 3 May 1788

- John Williamson and George Phillips for begging in the township of Stokesley without having a legal settlement there. Committed on 21 May 1788

- Ann Campion, charged on the oath of Mary Yeoman at Barnby with assaulting and threatening her. Committed on 24 May 1788

- William Wilkinson otherwise Scarr, charged on suspicion of stealing a linen web value 30s, the property of William Allen and taken from the bleach yard of John Flounders of Crathorne. Committed on 26 May 1788

- Thomas Bailey, charged on the oath of Ralph Boyes with taking cocks, hens or chickens, the property of Simon Goodall of Spaunton. Committed on 28 May 1788

- Lydia Jewitt and Elizabeth Stones, charged on the oath of Richard Harrison and William Knipe of the city of York for fraudulently taking milk in a pail on the evening of Monday 9 June 1788, between 10 and 11 o'clock. They had milked a cow belonging to John Harrison of the city of York butcher, which was in his field in the township of Huntington. Committed 10 June 1788

- Grace wife of John Bradley of Whitby, charged on the oath of Elizabeth Bradley of Whitby with stealing her cotton gown and petticoat. Committed on 20 June 1788

- Robert Dalton, charged on the oath of Daniel Ling of Whitby for assaulting and beating him on 21 June 1788. Committed on 24 June 1788

- Hannah Thackery for begging in the parish of Pickering, without having a legal settlement there. Committed on 25 June 1788

- William Wood, charged with assaulting and beating Thomas Blenkey of Appleton Wiske while he (Blenkey) was deputy to John Mawer constable of Appleton Wiske. Ann wife of William Wood is charged with assaulting and beating Margaret wife of John Blenkey of Appleton Wiske. Committed on 27 June 1788

- a man wandering in the parish of Whitby, and refusing to give any account of himself, pretending to be dumb. Committed on 5 July 1788

- John Oxley, charged on suspicion of stealing a breakfast cloth from the house of Christopher Anderson of Pickering, and for deserting his service, and other misdemeanours. Committed on 9 July 1788

Prisoners for Thirsk Sessions:
- John Pybus, indicted for felony, and ordered at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton to be imprisoned at the House of Correction at Thirsk until the next Sessions

- John Bains, charged on the oath of Mary Whitehawk of the township of Aldwark with being the father of her bastard child, and for want of sureties for his appearance. Committed 31 May 1788

- William Hopwood, to remain in the House of Correction
