DescriptionBill of expenses of Christopher Smith for conveying three vagrants since the last Easter Sessions

With orders dated between 30 July 1795 and 6 August 1795 for the conveyance mainly from Eryholme to Boroughbridge of:

- Mary Hill and one child, to be conveyed to their place of settlement in the parish of Scarborough, having been apprehended for begging in the town of Sunderland and committed to the House of Correction

- Elizabeth White and four children, on their way to their place of settlement in the parish of St James's in Middlesex, having been apprehended for begging in the town of Newcastle upon Tyne

- Rachael Bird, on her way to her place of settlement in the parish of St Ann's in the city of Gloucester, having been apprehended for begging in the town of Newcastle upon Tyne
