DescriptionBill of indictment of the inhabitants of the township of Mickleton for not repairing part of the highway from Barnard Castle in county Durham to Brough in Westmorland

From 13 January 1795 the highway has been in disrepair in the township of Mickleton from a rivulet across the highway called Mickleton Town Sike towards a gate across the highway called Lary Beck Gate at the west end of Mickleton West Pasture, being 3,900 yards in length and 7 yards in breadth

Endorsed with names of witnesses and "a true bill"
