- order dated 8 May 1797 to William Clayton gaoler at the Castle of York to take William Featherstone into custody before his appearance on the morrow of the Ascension before the Justices at Westminster to satisfy Richard Wood the younger for £29 damages for the non-performance of promises made to him at Kirby Moorside

- schedule dated 5 August 1797 of the real estate, personal estate, goods and debtors of William Featherstone formerly of Danby and late of Pickering farmer. He has no real estate; personal estate of one grey Galloway, and no goods. His debtors include Samuel Gray of Egton farmer; Ely Harrison of Staniland in the West Riding clothier, and Newark Hoggard of Langtoft in the East Riding farmer
