DescriptionBill of indictment of the inhabitants of the township of Croft for not repairing part of the highway from Northallerton to Darlington in county Durham

From 22 December 1795 the highway has been in disrepair in the township of Croft from opposite a public house on the west side of the highway occupied by John Gibson northward to the termination of 100 yards at the west end of Croft Bridge, being 1,637 yards in length and 7 yards in breadth

Endorsed with names of witnesses and "a true bill"
