DescriptionBill of expenses of Mary Smith for conveying vagrants from Eryholme to Boroughbridge. Includes orders dated between October 1798 and February 1799 to convey:

- Elizabeth Lewinton and three children, on their way to their place of settlement in Chelmsford in Essex with a pass from J. Hampson, having been apprehended in the town of Sunderland in county Durham

- Maria Fary, on her way to her place of settlement in Hollem [Holme?] in the East Riding with a pass from the Clerk of the Peace for county Durham, having been apprehended in the city of Durham

- Elizabeth Stout, on her way to her place of settlement in the parish of St Martin in the liberty of Westminster with a pass from the Clerk of the Peace for County Durham, having been apprehended in the city of Durham

- Margaret Davison and her child, on their way to their place of settlement in Plymouth with a pass from the Clerk of the Peace for County Durham, having been apprehended in the city of Durham
