She was born at Berwick on Tweed and about 12 years ago married William Ramsay a native of Edinburgh, who died in the parish of St Luke in London about four months ago. She left London about a month ago and was apprehended travelling towards Berwick. Having sold her clothes to support herself, and having been refused a lodging, she was destitute and had to beg at Northallerton. She has supported herself by begging on the road for the last one-hundred miles from London |
