Description | Bill of indictment of the inhabitants of the township of Croft for not repairing part of the highway from Northallerton to Darlington in county Durham
From 1 April 1800 the highway has been in disrepair in the township of Croft from a stone on the west side of the road about 100 yards south of a public house called the Bay Horse to 100 yards south of Croft Bridge where the counties of York and Durham are divided by the river Tees, being 1,782 yards in length and 10 yards in breadth
