DescriptionBill of indictment of the inhabitants of the township of Scalby for not repairing part of the highway from Hackness to Scarborough

From 1 December 1801 the highway has been in disrepair in the parish of Scalby from the eastern end of the parish of Hackness, at a place where a gate formerly was hung to divide the parish of Hackness from the parish of Scalby, and then eastward to Moises otherwise Moses Beck, being 1600 yards in length and 7 yards in breadth
