DescriptionBill of indictment of the inhabitants of the parish of Grinton for not repairing part of the highway from Richmond to Kirby Stephen in Westmorland

From 1 January 1803 the highway has been in disrepair in the parish of Grinton from the west side of the town of Reeth westward through Healaugh and Melbecks townships to Rowleth Bottom, and then on the south side of the river through the township of Satron to the town of Muker, being 14,000 yards in length and 7 yards in breadth
