| Description | Bill of indictment of the inhabitants of the township of Hornby for not repairing part of the highway from Girsby southward to the highway from Great Smeaton to Yarm
From 13 January 1801 the highway has been in disrepair in the township of Hornby from a brook called Staindale otherwise Staind Hill which divides the townships of Girsby and Hornby southward to the highway from Great Smeaton to Yarm, being 600 yards in length and 7 yards in breadth
