From 15 July 1811 the highway has been in disrepair in the township of Osmotherley from a footbridge called Thimbleby Lodge Bridge to a gate across the highway called Ableson's Gate adjoining the turnpike road from Thirsk to Yarm, being 1265 yards in length and 7 yards in breadth |
