DescriptionSummary conviction of Robert Halliday of the township of Sutton in the parish of Felixkirk for keeping a gun to kill game; on the information of Francis Trevett of Newburgh, and witnessed by William Matson of Oulston. Matson saw Halliday walk across a fallow field, a stubble field and a turnip field with a gun. Halliday then went behind a stack and came out without the gun. Matson went behind the stack and found a gun and a dead hare. James Raper of Oulston also stated that he had witnessed the same thing
