- Edward Darnton. Inquest held at Lythe on 11 October 1816. Verdict: lunatic, poisoning himself

- William Frankland. Inquest held at Scutterskelfe on 22 October 1816. Verdict: apoplectic fit

- Mary Fewler. Inquest held at Marton on 26 October 1816. Verdict: want and inclemency of the weather

- James Cavelder. Inquest held at Boulby alum works on 31 October 1816. Verdict: accidental death, falling down the cliff

- Stephen Hutchinson. Inquest held at Yarm on 20 November 1816. Verdict: accidental death, run over by waggon wheel. Deodand 3/-

- Martha Wilkinson. Inquest held at Appleton Wiske on 20 November 1816. Verdict: accidental death, drowned

- Thomas Nicholson. Inquest held at Carlton on 24 January 1817. Verdict: visitation of God, dropsy and asthma
