Description | Bill of indictment of John Waite late of the city of York gentleman and Henry Weatherill the younger late of the parish of St Olave's labourer for breaking into a pound and rescuing two mares, two fillies and two foals value £14, the property of Henry Weatherill the elder yeoman and Amelia Weatherill widow both of St Olave's. The beasts had been legally distrained by Thomas Harrison bailiff as a distress to cover £52 10s arrears of rent owed to Lord Grantham
