From 1 December 1818 the highway has been in disrepair in the parish of Gilling from a gate opening onto Skeeby Lane north-westward to a gate out of a farm occupied by Leonard Sivers, being 420 yards in length and 5 yards in breadth
Elgy is responsible by reason of his tenure of Skeeby Grange Farm in the parish of Gilling
