From 1 December 1818 the highway has been in disrepair in the parish of Gilling from a gate out of a close occupied by George Carter called the Mill Flatt south-eastward along a close called the Long Bottom and along the Skeeby Lane to a gate out of a farm occupied by Ralph Elgie, being 924 yards in length and 5 yards in breadth
Sivers is responsible by reason of his tenure of Low Sedbury Farm
