Description | Summary conviction dated 14 May 1818 of John Gardner of Hexham for distributing handbills advertising a sale by auction, at the house of William Harland at the sign of the Butchers Arms near the Fish Market at Whitby, of broad and narrow cloths, ladies' habits and pelisse cloths of superior quality and fashionable colours, kerseymeres, corduroys and muslins.
