Raine is now in the House of Correction at Northallerton for an assault made on 23 December 1821 on Elizabeth Blemire of the township of Romaldkirk. The wounds that she received make it impossible for her to appear against him without great bodily danger; and she has a certificate from Mr John Dickson the surgeon to that effect
