Description | John Seamour of Hopgrove in the township of Huntington had appealed at the Quarter Sessions on 18 October 1830 against the refusal of the Justices to grant him a licence to keep an inn or alehouse to sell excisable liquor by retail at his house in Huntington. This refusal is now reversed and Seamour is authorised to keep an inn at the sign of the Hop Poll [sic] in his dwelling house in Hopgrove |
