| Description | Undated petition to Quarter Sessions from 22 inhabitants of the township of Guisborough. At the last Easter Sessions, a grant of £75 was made towards building Chapel Beck Bridge, the original estimate being £150. As the foundations proved bad, there was a considerable extra expense in piling and planking, and building fence walls and water wings, which were not included in the original estimate. The original estimate had been exceeded by over £80, so an additional grant from the county would be thankfully received. Signed by:
