Description | Notice dated 22 December 1832 given by Thomas Bates of Kirklevington that he intends to appeal at the next Quarter Sessions against the appointment of John Goldsborough of Maltby as surveyor of the highways of the township of Kirklevington. Goldsbrough does not reside in the township of Kirklevington, and the highway accounts are not kept there, which deprives the inhabitants of access. Goldsbrough has not attended to highway repairs, he has got stones from Marshall Fowler esquire's quarry without them being weighed, and has refused to present his accounts
