DescriptionCase dated 21 December 1832 for the township of Leyburn (respondent) against the township of Crosby (appellant). By a removal order dated 26 October 1832, William Parker, Ann his wife, and their children Thomas and Mary were removed from the township of Leyburn to the township of Crosby in the parish of Leake. Notice of appeal was given to the overseers of Leyburn, and a notice, drawn up in the hurry and confusion of the election at Askrigg, was sent to the attorney for Crosby agreeing to abandon the order of removal as it was felt that it could not be supported
