DescriptionReport of William B. Dighton surgeon at the gaol that apart from cases of Asiatic cholera in October 1833, the prisoners were in a tolerably good state of health and free from epidemic or infectious illness up to the quarter ending July 1834. From that time, cases of English choleras morbus with dysenteric symptoms has occurred, with pulmonic indisposition, especially among the male prisoners
