| Description | Bill of indictment of William Udal of the township of Hawes for not paying maintenance to the overseers of the poor of the township of Melbecks for the bastard daughter of Mary Alton of the township of Melbecks singlewoman. The child was born on 14 June 1835 and was chargeable to the township of Melbecks. Udal was the putative father of the child and was ordered to re-imburse the township for the expenses of maintenance, but he has not done so
