TitleBill of indictment for misdemeanour: Sarah Warriner of Kirby Moorside
DescriptionBill of indictment of Sarah Warriner wife of Enoch Warriner late of the parish of Kirby Moorside labourer for obtaining by deception five pairs of stockings value 5s and five pairs of hose value 1s, the property of Joseph Cole draper. Warriner had falsely pretended to Richard Theaker servant to Joseph Cole draper, that she had been sent for some stockings by Mrs Rivis wife of William Rivis of the township of Hutton-le-Hole. She later returned four pairs of stockings, asking for the cost of the fifth pair to be put on Mrs Rivis's account
