Mr Topham will move for an order diverting a part of the highway in the township of East Witton from a point at the west end of, and adjoining to, the south of a close of land belonging to the Marquess of Ailesbury and occupied by Christopher Dixon; thence north-westerly and in a straight line over land belonging to the Marquess used as limekiln ground to a point on the same highway adjoining on the south of another close belonging to the Marquess and occupied by John Ryder, being 274 yards. The road to be stopped up will be 276 yards
