With certificate of conviction of John Hind the elder late of the House of Correction at Ripon in the Liberty of Ripon labourer for the theft of one brass pan value 10s and one brass kettle value 10s, the property of John Ambler, on 25 July 1828 at the parish of Ripon. Hind was convicted at the Quarter Sessions for the Liberty of Ripon held at Ripon on 17 October 1828 and was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction for the Liberty for 12 calendar months
