- motion paper for the enrolment at the Michaelmas Sessions 1853 of the certificate of two Justices that the new highway has been completed. An order was made at the Midsummer Sessions 1847 diverting a highway leading from Kirkleatham to Ormesby, conditional on the surveyors of the townships of Wilton, Lazenby and Lackenby making a common footpath for those going between the village of Lazenby and the parish church of Wilton for divine service; the footpath to be in line with and old lane formerly called Captain's Lane and formerly leading from the village of Wilton to the highway from Kirkleatham to Ormesby. The new highway and footpath have now been completed

- plan dated 1847 of the proposed alteration of the road in the parish or chapelry of Wilton in Cleveland; by George Peirson land surveyor at Marske

- certificate dated 11 October 1853 that the new highway and footpath have been viewed by two Justices. The old highway is to be stopped-up
