- call roll, including a precept (dated 28 May 1856) to the sheriff to appear at the Quarter Sessions and to summon jurors and justices to the Sessions to be held at Northallerton on 1 July 1856. With names of those on Grand and Traverse Juries, and names of the sheriff, deputy sheriff, treasurer, coroners, high constables, bailiffs and keepers of the gaol at the castle of York and of the House of Correction at Northallerton [1 item]

- papers relating to the exemption from jury service of John Pearson, Thomas Hudson, Thomas Baker and John Grundon [5 items]

- warrants to the bailiffs of Hang West, Langbaurgh East, and Pickering Lythe and Malton to summon jurors for the Grand Jury and Traverse Jury [3 items]

- certificate of illness of Mr W. Peacock [1 item]
