With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions for the West Riding held at Wakefield on 26 August 1853 of George Clay late of Wakefield labourer for stealing 75 yards of canvas value £1, the property of John Holdsworth and others, at the parish of Bradford on 19 August 1853. Clay was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Wakefield for three calendar months. Certificate dated 8 October 1856 |
