With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 28 January 1843 of James Barker late of the House of Correction at Northallerton labourer for stealing 70 pounds weight of flour and one saw, the property of William Milner; one cotton shirt, the property of John Green; one whip, one tame domesticated goose, and one horse comb, the property of George Atkinson; one smock frock and one pair of gloves, the property of Robert Atkinson; one smock frock and one whip, the property of Isaac Poad; and one other smock frock and one other whip, the property of person or persons unknown. Barker was sentenced to be transported for seven years. Certificate dated 7 June 1857
With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 29 June 1847 of Alice Barker late of the House of Correction at Northallerton for stealing one silver outer watch case, one silver inner watch case, two other watch cases, and two pieces of silver, the property of John Stockdale.
