With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions for the borough of Leeds held at Leeds on 25 June 1857 of John Daly late of Leeds labourer (along with Charlotte Daly) for stealing one printed dress value 5s, one stuff dress value 10s, one worsted jacket value 5s, one paramatta cape value 10s, one silk cape value 10s, one woman's skirt value 5s, one woman's veil value 2s, and one silk parasol value 5s, the property of Eliza Oddy; and one table cloth value 5s, the property of Ellen Hudson, at the borough of Leeds on 3 April 1857. John Daly was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at the borough of Leeds for two calendar months. Certificate dated 30 December 1858 |
